This was always a favorite of my WW I aircraft artwork. I would sometimes go back and tweek i, never sure about the final results. Finally I have finish it today. I went back and painted more detail into the balloon and fire explosion. The AC also has been repainted and touched up. Blended the skies, etc.
To get a shot like this I took a movie and then go back and take various sreenshots (editing) of the mission the you have to "fly". This can be very time consuming but the effort sometimes payoff.
